As the Finance Manager Sweden, you will play a crucial role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with local legislation.

The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall management of the finance function in Sweden, ensuring that local regulations as well as Group guidelines and processes are followed. He/she supports the business by proactively analyzing financial data and providing guidance to the MD and the management team on business decisions. He/she also actively participates as a member of the local management team and the Group Finance Team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to support and advise the MD and local management team in decision-making.

  • Supervise and ensure compliance with local financial and accounting processes (including statutory and management accounting, monthly business & financial reporting, year-end Group and statutory reporting, and local tax and official reporting such as corporate tax and VAT).

  • Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting as agreed with the Group management and described in the Group accounting principles and guidelines.

  • Be responsible for daily cash management, cash flow forecasting, and cash planning at the local level, as well as customer credit controls.

  • Manage local risks, including currency, customer credit, interest, and liquidity risks. He/she also manages general business risks together with the MD and the management team.

  • Ensure that proper internal controls are in place and adhered to.

  • Play an active role in the Group Finance Team.

  • Participate in development projects at the Group level as needed.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the optimization and automation of financial accounting, reporting, and control procedures.

  • Assist in the local annual inventory and audit processes

Wymagania

  • Solid skills in finance and business controlling, with a strong leadership profile and a minimum of 3 years of experience at a managerial level (demonstrating a collaborative, coaching leadership style aligned with Nordic business culture).

  • BSc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MSc degree or equivalent (e.g., Civilekonom) is considered a strong benefit.

  • Advanced system skills, including practical experience with ERP systems (Infor M3 or similar) and modern BI/reporting tools (QlikSense, Power BI, or similar). Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience working within an international work environment is an advantage.

  • Proven experience working in a matrix organization is a strong advantage.

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operations in detail by connecting financial data with the responsibilities within a production environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in an easily understandable way to non-finance stakeholders, combined with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

  • Background in the manufacturing or production industry is a strong advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Swedish accounting principles (BFNAR, K3/K2 regulations) and local tax compliance.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and solution-oriented, with a proven ability to take initiative and drive processes forward.
